VISION AND MEDICAL INSURANCE
Two types of health insurance may provide benefits to help you pay for your eye care services and products. Our practice accepts plans from many providers for both vision and medical coverage.

Vision Care Plans have benefits that cover routine eye exams, eyeglasses, or contact lenses. Your vision plan may also cover a primary screening for eye diseases or conditions. However, they do not cover diagnosing, managing, or treating eye diseases.

Medical Insurance diagnoses manages and treats eye diseases and injuries. Your doctor will determine if these conditions apply to you, but certain conditions may be considered by case history.

If you have both insurance plans, we may need to bill some services to your Vision Care Plan and others to your Medical Insurance. Occasionally, this will even result in you scheduling a separate appointment to care for specific conditions. We will coordinate benefits to minimize your out-of-pocket expenses.
